This is SWK’s 7th year participating in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event and we couldn’t be more excited. The event takes place at Cooper River Park 5300 N Park Dr Pennsauken, NJ on October 22. We’ve always been a company that wanted to give back. We wanted to get involved in the community so that’s when we found the American Cancer Society’s MSABC. We knew this was the perfect event for us. Best friend, Mother, co-worker…breast cancer has touched several of us personally. We look forward to getting together outside of work to walk with our families and friends and always stride to become one of the Top Companies to raise money for this event.
We reach out for donations this time every year but what you may not know is that we do little things throughout the year to raise money and every little bit adds up. We have Taco Tuesday lunches, bake sales and sell candy and ice cream throughout the year and all proceeds go to the breast cancer walk. To date, we’ve been able to donate over $2,100 just from doing fun stuff like this.
We are delighted to say that our Team has raised $30,250 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. We were proudly named one of the Top Teams in 2014, 2015 and 2016! We couldn’t do this without the generous donations we receive year after year from our friends, family, clients and colleagues. We are looking forward to our seventh year participating in this great event.
